S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Officially Coming to PlayStation 5 with Pro Enhancements

Developers from GSC Game World have confirmed the release of the long-awaited S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on PlayStation 5 at the end of 2025. The game, originally planned as a temporary exclusive for other platforms for only three months, will appear on Sony consoles with a year delay from the main release.



The PS5 version will receive special optimizations for PlayStation 5 Pro and full integration with the capabilities of the DualSense controller. Fans of the series can already add the project to their wishlist in the PlayStation Store. The delay in the release on the new platform is explained by the additional time required by the studio for high-quality adaptation of a complex technologically advanced project.

This announcement completes the multi-platform development history of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, which has survived several postponements and changes in the release strategy. Now fans of the series on all major platforms will be able to get acquainted with the continuation of the cult post-apocalyptic saga.
