Skyrim Fan Recreates Game's Map Out of LEGO - Project Took Over Three Years
One of the fans of the Elder Scrolls series has dedicated more than three years to creating a detailed map of the TES V: Skyrim game world using LEGO. The work began with nine months of preparation and planning, and then moved into the construction phase, which took about two and a half years.

As a result, the enthusiast managed to recreate the entire province of Skyrim with its iconic regions in great detail - from coastal Solitude to southern Riften. This required almost 74 thousand LEGO bricks. The map contains 292 locations that are important in the game, and almost six thousand trees. You can see not only large cities, but also miniature Dwemer ruins, shrines, standing stones, sunken ships and other recognizable elements of the game world.

The project turned out to be impressive not only in scale - its dimensions were 2.44 by 1.92 meters - but also in the accuracy of the terrain. The model is built with 44 elevation levels to preserve the topography of the original world.
