MachineGames May Have Started Working on a Sequel to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Judging by the recent vacancies, the studio could begin production of a sequel to the successful action adventure about the famous archaeologist. The open positions, including the position of lead concept artist, indicate requirements typical for Indiana Jones-style projects - knowledge of pop culture and experience in the film industry.



Several factors point to the possibility of creating a sequel: active support for the original title, including the upcoming DLC, as well as rumors about the cancellation of the Wolfenstein sequel in favor of this project. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, released in December 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X/S (with a subsequent release on PS5 in April 2025), received high scores - 8.2/10 from players on Metacritic, making it one of the most successful licensed projects in recent years.

While there is no official confirmation from Bethesda or MachineGames, the active recruitment of an unannounced AAA project, coupled with the studio's current commitment to the Indiana Jones universe, suggests that fans should be prepared for more archaeological adventures. The decision to continue could be based on the game's commercial success and positive community response.
