Rockstar has begun to disable the functionality of the Social Club service

Rockstar Games has begun a gradual shutdown of the Social Club service. Users have noticed that when trying to go to the main page of the platform, they are automatically redirected to the official website of the developer.
Currently, Social Club has lost a significant part of its basic functions, including the ability to view profiles and photos of other community members. The process of folding the service began back in 2023, when Rockstar began to gradually reduce its support.

The Rockstar Games Social Club social platform was launched in 2008 and completely redesigned in 2012. During its existence, the service has become morally outdated, especially in matters of user data security. Apparently, the company is preparing a more modern replacement, the release of which may be timed to coincide with the release of the long-awaited GTA 6.
The announced release date of GTA VI is scheduled for May 26, 2026. The title will be available exclusively on the next-generation consoles - PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
