Exclusive 'Dark Knight' Xbox 360 Goes on Sale for Tens of Thousands of Dollars

Collectors of gaming consoles have noticed the appearance online of one of the rarest Xbox 360 units, made in the style of Christopher Nolan's cult film "The Dark Knight". The unique device with an image of the Joker played by Heath Ledger and the film's logo was released in a limited edition of 150 units in 2008 as a result of cooperation between Microsoft, Warner Bros. and the Domino's pizza chain.





The owner of the rare console under the nickname x_WishYouWereHere_x posted photos of the device on Reddit, saying that he received it as part of the promotional campaign The Cards Tell the Tale, where 110 units were raffled off. According to him, the console is in good condition, although it has minor signs of use - a few scratches and a small dent on the case.

The discussion of the potential cost of the rarity caused a lively debate among users. In April 2024, a similar unit was sold for $2,000, but there is currently an offer on the marketplace for the same console for a record-breaking $10,000. The owner of the device intends to put his unit up for sale due to financial circumstances, which could be an important event for the gaming artifact collecting community.
