Grand Theft Auto 6 Could Get Revolutionary Custom Music Mode

According to new rumors from HipHopGamer, Rockstar Games is developing innovative music functionality for GTA 6. The project will feature a custom music mode that will allow players to sync their own tracks with various in-game events, similar to the system implemented in ESPN NFL 2K5 back in 2004. This functionality will allegedly be added to the game after its release.



Previously, information appeared about Rockstar's plans to expand the music component of GTA 6. In particular, it was reported about the possible appearance of exclusive radio stations from artists such as Drake and DJ Khaled. Rapper Jermaine Dupri hinted in his interviews that Drake may be able to download new tracks into the game before their official release. This information indicates Rockstar's strategic approach to creating a full-fledged entertainment center within GTA 6, where the music component will play a key role.

If the rumors are true, it would be a significant step forward for the Grand Theft Auto series, which has traditionally placed a heavy emphasis on licensed soundtracks but has never offered such deep integration of user-generated music content.
