Xiaomi Stops Supporting Nine Smartphone Models

The company has updated the list of devices that have been transferred to the End of Life status, which means the end of software support. The list includes nine models under the Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO brands, including the Xiaomi 11 and 11 Lite 5G NE, Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, Redmi A1 and A1+, Redmi 11 Prime 4G, as well as POCO C50 and M5.

The latest security updates for these smartphones will arrive in September of this year, after which the devices will no longer receive any official operating system updates and vulnerability fixes. The manufacturer traditionally recommends that users of outdated models consider upgrading to newer devices to ensure security and stable operation.

For those who plan to continue using these smartphones, there remains the option of installing unofficial firmware with current versions of Android, but this approach requires technical knowledge and may affect the stability of the devices.
