Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition Sells 250,000 Copies

The remaster of the cult strategy Stronghold Crusader from Firefly studio demonstrated impressive commercial results. Three weeks after the release, the updated version of the game was sold in more than 250 thousand copies. The figures may be inferior to large AAA projects, but for a niche reissue of a classic, such figures indicate an undoubted success.

The developers note a high level of positive reviews on Steam, where the share of positive ratings reached 90%. In addition to the graphic update, Definitive Edition received reworked game mechanics, additional commanders, new types of troops and additional campaigns. The Firefly team continues to work on the project - in the coming months, patches and additions are expected to be released, planned for the autumn-winter period. Successful sales confirm that the nostalgic remaster managed to meet the expectations of both fans of the original game and new players.
