Konami Shows Confidence in Metal Gear Solid Delta by Allowing Early Reviews to Be Released

Publisher Konami has confirmed that critics' reviews of the long-awaited Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake will be available to the general public a week before its official release. The first reviews from gaming publications will be available on August 22, which indicates a high level of confidence in the quality of the project. This move contrasts with the common practice of publishers limiting early access to reviews of questionable projects.

Developed by Virtuos without the participation of series creator Hideo Kojima, the remake promises to preserve the spirit of the original 2004 game, supplemented with new content. Among the features of the remake is the return of the famous monkeys from the Ape Escape franchise, who will appear only in the PC and PS5 versions, while Xbox owners will be able to meet characters from Bomberman. The official release of the title will take place on August 28 on all platforms.
