Singapore regulators reveal shocking details of Battlefield 6 campaign

According to documents from the Singapore regulator Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), the single-player Battlefield 6 will take players to 2027, where a global conflict between NATO forces and the influential private military company Pax Armada will unfold. The gameplay is built on alternating cutscenes with dynamic battles, where cramped spaces give way to large-scale field battles. The main character, an American Marine, will have to carry out dangerous missions in various parts of the globe.

Regulators assigned the game an "M18" rating, noting the extremely realistic and brutal depiction of combat. Players will have all types of modern weapons in their arsenal - from pistols to rocket launchers. Particular attention was drawn to the episode where the protagonist cuts off a dead enemy's finger with metal scissors. The abundance of bloody scenes and frequent use of foul language in dialogues became the basis for age restrictions.
