Counter-Strike 2 gets night versions of Ancient and Shoots maps in new update
Valve has released a major update for Counter-Strike 2, adding night versions of the popular Ancient and Shoots maps to the game. Dark versions of the locations are available in both standard modes and in "Deathmatch". The developers have significantly improved the visual component of the maps, using modern shaders and improving the particle blending system.

In addition to new maps, the update brought the Deluge music set to the game, which can be purchased in two versions - a regular one and a version with a StatTrak counter. A temporary M4A1-S | Solitude skin has also appeared in the game store.

The technical part of the patch includes fixes for many animations: examining weapons and knives, animations for pulling out the AWP, M4A4 and M4A1-S. Rendering performance has been optimized for most maps in the game, which should have a positive effect on the gameplay.
