Postal 2 Remaster Raises Production Funds in 48 Hours
The crowdfunding campaign for the development of a remaster of the legendary Postal 2 called Postal 2 Redux has been a success in just two days. The developers from Running With Scissors, who launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter on August 13, reached the stated goal of $250 thousand in record time. Now the amount of donations has exceeded $285 thousand, and the collection will continue until September 12.
The updated version of the title, which is scheduled for release in 2026 for PC and consoles, will feature a day/night system. Upon reaching the $300 thousand mark, the developers will add a sandbox mode, and the $400 thousand threshold will allow for the implementation of support for modifications on consoles.

Postal 2 Redux will receive improved visuals, a seamless game world, and improved AI. The updated edition will also include the Apocalypse Weekend DLC with a restored mission previously removed from the original. Released in 2003, Postal 2 gained notoriety for its provocative dark humor and graphic violence.
