Dawn of War Remaster Sold 150,000 Copies in First Day
Relic Entertainment has announced the successful launch of the remaster of the cult strategy Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition, which was purchased 150 thousand times in the first 24 hours after its release. Although this figure is significantly inferior to the figures of modern blockbusters, for an updated version of a 20-year-old game it looks quite decent.

The original Dawn of War, released in September 2004, reached the 4 million copies mark in five years of sales, becoming one of the most successful RTS of its time. In anticipation of the remaster, the developers also released Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Anniversary Edition, which includes all the additions to the classic game.
