Forza Horizon 6 is expected to take place in Japan
Car importer Cult & Classic has inadvertently revealed the likely setting of the upcoming Forza Horizon title. The post, which was later removed, showed developers Playground Games photographing a Japanese kei car, a category of compact vehicles rarely seen outside of Japan. This could indicate that they are actively working on localization and content for the new title.

Earlier, Microsoft Gaming boss Phil Spencer confirmed the release of the next Forza Horizon in 2026, although the details of the project remain unknown. Cult & Classic representatives commented on the collaboration, noting that they are honored to facilitate virtual access to unique cars for players around the world. Forza Horizon 5, released in 2021, was dedicated to Mexico, and the Japanese setting will be a logical continuation of the geographical diversity of the series.
