The release of the new Painkiller has been postponed until the end of October

Anshar Studio announced the postponement of the release of the shooter Painkiller, originally scheduled for October 9. As a result, the title will go on sale on October 21 — the creators needed additional time to carry out the final polishing.

The authors emphasize that the new Painkiller is an independent rethinking and is not directly connected with the previous parts of the cult series, with the exception of the name, general aesthetics and individual types of weapons. The key feature will be the possibility of cooperative passage for three: even in the single-player campaign, the hero will be accompanied by partners controlled by artificial intelligence.

The release delay is also connected with the busy autumn release schedule: in October, such high-profile new products as Ghost of Yotei, Ninja Gaiden 4, Borderlands 4, Battlefield 6, Little Nightmares III, Once Upon a Katamari and The Outer Worlds 2 will see the light of day.
