BioShock Movie Adapts First Part of Series

The producer of the upcoming BioShock adaptation, Roy Lee, has revealed a key detail of the project for the first time, stating that the plot of the film will be based on the first game in the franchise. According to him, Netflix is ​​asking the team not to share details, but the fact that the original was chosen as a basis has already been confirmed.

Earlier, it became known that the production will be handled by Francis Lawrence, the director of The Hunger Games, who is currently finishing work on the prequel of this series. After its release, he will switch to BioShock. In the meantime, the script for the adaptation is being revised: the initial version has already been sent for corrections, and the creators are using the time before the start of filming to bring the story to the desired level.
