Team Cherry immortalizes fan's memory in Hollow Knight: Silksong
Hollow Knight: Silksong continues to amaze players not only with its complexity, but also with the emotional stories behind its creation. As it became known, Team Cherry dedicated part of the game to a fan who died of Ewing's sarcoma.
In 2019, Seth Goldman posted on Reddit about his illness and said that he had come up with his own character for Hollow Knight. He dreamed of his idea getting into the game, and soon the developers contacted him directly. Unfortunately, the young man died shortly after, but his dream still came true.

The creators of Silksong created a unique enemy named Seth, inspired by a fan's drawing. This character lives in the Carapace Forest, and after the battle, he loses his memory and goes on a journey, which symbolically allows him to live in the game world forever. Goldman's name was also added to the credits of the project.
Silksong's release on September 4th was such a huge event that it temporarily overwhelmed digital stores.
