Insider reveals possible release date for Battlefield 6

According to blogger and insider ModernWarzone, the free-to-play battle royale for Battlefield 6 may be released on October 28, 2025. The source clarified that the date is not yet final and Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios may make changes, but this is the date currently listed in the developers' plans. Thus, the launch of the mode will occur 18 days after the release of the main game.

It is not yet clear whether the battle royale will be connected to Season 1 of Battlefield 6. At the moment, the mode is being tested by a limited number of players as part of the Battlefield Labs program, and leaks with gameplay footage have already begun to appear on the network.

Battlefield 6 will be released on October 10 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the story campaign will be presented for the first time at the Tokyo Game Show.
