LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has received its first gameplay footage.

Developers from TT Games have released a full gameplay video for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a project that combines the familiar LEGO style with the atmosphere of the grim Batman: Arkham Knight. In the video, the creators detailed their approach to creating the crossover and its key features.

The game's plot is conceived as a unique encyclopedia of the Dark Knight's history: from Bruce Wayne's rise to becoming the scourge of the criminal underworld. At the same time, the creators strove to combine LEGO's signature humor with a serious narrative so that it would seamlessly integrate into the story without detracting from the atmosphere. The developers emphasize that they carefully studied archival DC footage and selected the most important episodes to form the basis of the script.

Particular attention was paid to the technical side. Unlike traditional LEGO games, this one will feature detailed textures, rain physics, and sophisticated character interactions. Players will be able to freely explore Gotham City using a grappling hook, flying cape, and riding the Batmobile, while the city's dark alleys will be filled with hidden crime hotspots. In addition to single-player play, the game features a split-screen co-op mode.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is scheduled for release in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
