Hideo Kojima and Niantic are creating an AR game in the spirit of Death Stranding.

During the Beyond the Strand stream, Kojima Productions made a number of announcements, including a collaboration with Niantic Spatial, known for Pokémon GO. Hideo Kojima announced that he is working with the team on a project that many fans have already dubbed Death Stranding GO.

The game will utilize augmented reality technology, allowing users to interact with digital objects and other people in the real world using smartphones. Essentially, it will be an attempt to bring the atmosphere and concepts of Death Stranding into everyday life.

For now, details remain under wraps. It's not even clear whether A New Dawn is the official title of the project or just a teaser.
