A new trailer for the action game Romeo is a Dead Man by Goichi Suda, better known as Suda51, premiered at Tokyo Game Show 2025. The creator of Killer7, No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw, and Shadows of the Damned once again demonstrated his signature sense of style, blending elements of his past games into a single project.

The story centers on an FBI agent named Romeo, who travels through time searching for Juliet, while slaughtering hordes of the most bizarre creatures. The trailer clearly demonstrates how the game combines both the style and mechanics of Suda's previous hits, creating a chaotic and spectacular experience.

The project was originally conceived as an open-world action game, for which the Grasshopper Manufacture team even prepared a diorama, but the developers ultimately abandoned this concept, focusing on AAA-level graphics. Romeo is a Dead Man is scheduled for release in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
