An insider has revealed the possible price of the portable version of the PlayStation 6
According to well-known insider KeplerL2, Sony is developing a portable console codenamed Canis, which will join the PlayStation 6 ecosystem. He claims the device will be powered by a compact and energy-efficient chip, which will significantly reduce production costs.
If the company forgoes the expensive OLED display, the starting price could be around $499. This price would make the new console more affordable than competing solutions, such as the ASUS ROG Ally portable console from Xbox, which costs between $599 and $999 depending on the version.

Sony has not yet officially confirmed the project's existence. Rumors suggest the new console will be able to play titles natively and will be compatible with the PS4 and PS5 libraries.
