A fan completed Hollow Knight: Silksong in two hours without taking any damage

Speedrunner and vlogger HuntHussle completed Hollow Knight: Silksong in just two hours, managing to complete the entire game without taking a single hit. He posted the confirmation on his YouTube channel.

While this appears to be a record, it can't be officially declared as such yet—a leaderboard for speedruns of Silksong on various difficulty levels won't open until October 1st on speedrun.com.

A week earlier, a player named Nebula completed the Metroidvania in under an hour, setting another notable achievement.

The creators of Hollow Knight: Silksong have been committed to speedrunning from the start: the game includes a special achievement for completing the game in under five hours. The game was released on September 4, 2025, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
