Marvel Cosmic Invasion has received a demo with two levels and nine heroes.
Although Marvel superhero films have lost their popularity in recent years, interest in comic book-based games remains high. One of the latest titles will be the retro-action Marvel Cosmic Invasion, scheduled for release in 2025. A demo was recently released, allowing players to explore its core mechanics.
The trial includes two levels—New York City and the Helicarrier. Players have access to nine characters: She-Hulk, Rocket, Venom, Phyla-Vell, Spider-Man, Storm, Wolverine, Nova, and Captain America. In addition to single-player, the demo features both local and online multiplayer.
Initial user reviews on Steam have been mixed. Users feel the game suffers from imbalances and doesn't always provide a satisfying combat experience, but they also acknowledge that the action game looks very visually impressive.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is expected to release on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. There is no exact release date yet, but the launch will take place before the end of 2025.
