FIFA and Solace announced an arcade simulator with elements of science fiction

The International Football Federation, in collaboration with Solace Studio, has unveiled a new project called FIFA Heroes. It's an arcade football sim in a 5-on-5 format that blends classic sports with fantastical elements.

Gamers will form unusual teams by combining famous football players, mascots, and characters from popular films and TV series. The developers promise fast-paced and exciting gameplay with an emphasis on flashy moves, as well as several modes, including PvE. The game features a progression system that allows players to develop their own club and build a career.

FIFA Heroes is scheduled for release in 2026. The title will be released on mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox, where it will directly compete with the arcade football game Rematch.
