Rock Band 4 will disappear from digital stores on the eve of its 10th anniversary.
Music games are rarely delayed due to licensing agreements, and now Rock Band 4 has suffered the same fate. Harmonix announced that the musician simulator will be removed from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store on October 5th, just one day before its tenth anniversary. The reason for this is the expiration of the contracts for the use of the music, which deprives the studio of the right to distribute the project. DLC will remain on shelves for a little longer, but will also be removed once they reach their tenth anniversary.

Nevertheless, digital owners need not worry: the game will remain available for download from their libraries. Those who would like to expand their collection or purchase the latest available songs will have to hurry and do so before the deletion date.
