Skateboarding simulator skate. has amassed 15 million players in less than a month since its early access release.
EA shared the initial results of its skateboarding simulator, skate., and they were impressive. Within a few weeks of its Early Access launch, the project attracted over 15 million players. One of the key factors behind its success was its free-to-play model, which allowed a wide audience to easily experience the new game.

However, user reviews on Steam were lukewarm—at the time of publication, skate. had a 69% rating, with just over 500 reviews. Despite the impressive player numbers, some users expressed dissatisfaction with the technical state and overall quality of the project.
The developers stated that they are not rushing the full release—skate. will remain in Early Access indefinitely. The team plans to actively refine the game based on player feedback. The first season recently launched, along with patch version 0.28. The title is now available on PC and modern consoles.
