The classic strategy game Dune II has been ported to Telegram—you can play it right in the messenger.

Retro game fans have another reason to rejoice: the legendary strategy game Dune II can now be played directly in Telegram, without emulators or additional software.

The ported version is based on the OpenDune engine and is fully adapted for touch controls. Russian localization has been added, and some of the original's bugs have been fixed. To start the game, simply activate a special bot in the messenger—it's free and requires no registration.

The original Dune II, developed by Westwood Studios, is considered the founder of the real-time strategy subgenre and had a colossal influence on the industry. Its mechanics formed the basis for subsequent classic RTS games like Warcraft.
