Marvel Rivals will get a zombie PvE mode inspired by the recent Marvel animated series.

NetEase Games announced the upcoming launch of a new Zombie Mode for the team-based shooter Marvel Rivals. The developers noted that the mode's concept is inspired by the animated series "Marvel Zombies." Players will be able to experience the new feature on October 23rd.

In Zombie Mode, players will face off against hordes of the undead, controlling Thor, Blade, Magik, Jeff, or the Punisher. Battles will take place in endless waves of enemies, including powerful bosses like Zombie Namor and the Queen of the Dead.

Each character has its own set of abilities. Jeff can ram enemies, Blade can attack them with flying moon blades, Thor in his awakened form will blast enemies with lightning, and Magik will fight as Darkchilde.

Previously, the developers added a new hero to Marvel Rivals: Daredevil, who relies on his hearing and uses the Eastern weapon nunchaku in combat.
