Insider: The portable PlayStation 6 will be three times more powerful than the Nintendo Switch 2
An insider at Moore's Law is Dead claimed that Sony's upcoming portable console will be able to outperform the Nintendo Switch 2 by almost three times in docked mode and by approximately twice as much in battery life. According to him, the device's APU will maintain clock rates much more consistently than its competitor's processor, ensuring faster and smoother performance in all conditions.

Furthermore, Sony's new console is expected to support FSR 4 or even FSR 5 image upscaling technologies, which can deliver sharper images and improve performance. This will give the system an advantage over DLSS 3.1, which, according to the insider, is used in the Switch 2.
The full PlayStation 6 is rumored to be released in 2027. The portable version could launch simultaneously or slightly later, continuing Sony's trend of integrating mobile solutions into the PlayStation ecosystem.
