Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 may be released earlier than planned
Activision appears to have decided to reconsider the release date for the next installment in its flagship series. Following the success of Battlefield 6, which attracted audiences with its return to the classic military shooter formula, the publisher is rumored to be looking to advance the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Reports have surfaced online that the new Call of Duty could premiere on November 7th—a week earlier than the announced date. TheGhostOfHope was the first to report this, but there is no official confirmation yet. The source notes that they aren't 100% certain of the leak, but considers the possible delay a pleasant surprise.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was originally scheduled for November 14th. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The game's beta testing began earlier in October, but audience attention was largely focused on the competing shooter Battlefield 6, which fans believe may have prompted Activision to reconsider its plans.
