Retro shooter MOUSE: P.I. for Hire won't be released in 2025

Developers at Fumi Games have announced a delay for the retro shooter MOUSE: P.I. for Hire, inspired by the aesthetics of 20th-century cartoons. The game, originally scheduled for release in 2025, has been delayed and is now expected early next year, or sometime before March 2026.

The project's creators did not specify the reason for the delay, stating only that the additional time will allow them to improve the shooter's quality and bring it up to par with player expectations. According to the developers, they strive to create the most polished and enjoyable gaming experience possible, and therefore decided not to rush the release.

MOUSE: P.I. for Hire will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and both versions of the Nintendo Switch.
