No Man's Sky has received a new Breach update and continues to evolve nine years after its release

The space simulator No Man's Sky, once considered a symbol of broken expectations, continues to amaze with its widespread support. Nine years after its release, Hello Games has released another major update, Breach, expanding the possibilities for exploring the vast galaxy.

The new update serves as a sequel to the August Voyagers expansion. Players can now find and explore the wreckage of drifting starships, extract valuable resources from them, and use the recovered materials to craft unique modules for their spaceships. Additionally, a new expedition has launched in the game, set in the mysterious Abandoned Universe. Its launch, timed to coincide with Halloween, promises an atmosphere of suspense and unexpected discoveries in the darkest corners of space.

Studio head Sean Murray noted that the past year has been particularly eventful for the team and emphasized the developers' pride in continuing to actively develop the project nearly a decade after its release.

The original No Man's Sky released in August 2016 and initially faced harsh criticism for technical issues and a lack of promised features. However, thanks to numerous free updates, the game completely transformed its reputation and became one of the industry's most successful comeback stories.
