Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be free to play again, right on the day of the launch of the first season of Battlefield 6
Activision has once again decided to temporarily make Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 free to play—and the timing is clearly no coincidence. Free access to the shooter's online modes, including Zombies, will begin on October 28 and run until November 3. During this period, players will be able to experience over forty maps and participate in a themed Halloween event, but the story campaign will remain inaccessible.

This is a remarkable coincidence: the first season of Battlefield 6, accompanied by a major content update, launches on October 28. A similar situation occurred previously, when Activision made Black Ops 6 free on the day of its release, which users perceived as a response to competitors' activity.
The next installment in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, is scheduled for release on November 14. If the shooter market continues to trend, fans aren't ruling out the possibility that it, too, will soon have its own free weekend.
