Retroid has unveiled a redesigned Pocket 6 handheld console, taking into account player feedback
Retroid has unveiled a redesigned version of its new Pocket 6 handheld console, addressing user feedback after initial previews. The developers have updated the console's appearance and offered future owners a choice of two design options: one with the left analog stick positioned above the D-pad, while the other has it positioned below it.

Furthermore, the company's engineers have repositioned several components. The M1 and M2 buttons have been moved to the rear panel, and the speakers are no longer located in the center of the console. Retroid has confirmed that pre-orders for the updated version of the console will open soon. Those who pre-ordered the older version through the official website will receive a support email with further instructions in the coming days.
The Pocket 6's technical features remain unchanged. The console features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1920x1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Storage options include 128 or 256 GB of expandable UFS 3.1 memory. The device also features a 6,000 mAh battery, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3 support, and runs Android 13.
