EA Sports has begun testing an open world, paving the way for future FC titles
EA Sports, which has been hinting at introducing an open-world system to the EA FC football series for several months, has now put its money where its mouth is. The company has begun sending invitations to select players to participate in closed testing of the latest updates. One stage of the test will run from November 12th to 18th.

While the open-world system has not yet been officially unveiled, EA representatives have mentioned its development several times before. According to trusted insiders, the new system will not appear in FC 26; the studio intends to continue working on the concept to fully implement it in subsequent installments of the franchise.
It was previously reported that testers had already seen an early version of the open-world system, but it provoked a mixed reaction. Gamers considered the mechanics too limited and unpolished. It appears that EA has made significant changes over the past six months and is now ready to test the updated version of the mode again, which could potentially change the traditional format of football simulations.
