Dispatch broke its own online record after releasing new episodes

On November 5, 2025, Dispatch, a game about managing a team of former superheroes, set a new concurrent player record on Steam, peaking at over 131,000 players. This growth occurred immediately after the release of the fifth and sixth episodes.

The previous peak was 65,900 players, set on October 29, when the third and fourth chapters premiered. This represents a two-fold increase, and analysts expect the game to set a new record with the release of the final episodes on November 12.

Dispatch was developed by AdHoc, a studio founded by former Telltale Games alumni, and combines elements of a visual novel, interactive cartoon, and strategy game. The first chapters were released on October 22, and sales exceeded 1 million copies within ten days. The game is available on PC and PlayStation 5.
