Media: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake will be released in January 2026

According to Insider Gaming, Ubisoft intends to release the remastered version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in mid-January 2026. The publication's sources say the title will be unveiled at The Game Awards 2025, scheduled for December 11, where the exact release date will likely be announced.

Previously, in a financial report, the company stated that the project was expected to be released by March 31, 2026. By June 2024, an early build of the remake was already available, indicating progress.

The remake itself was unveiled in 2020 and was slated for release in 2021, but the deadline was repeatedly pushed back, and development was later restarted. Ubisoft Montreal is working on the project, with studios in Toronto, Bucharest, Paris, and Pune contributing.
