Rockstar has shut down a fan-made GTA V magical server that cost over $100,000 to develop

The SevenWands fan server, created by enthusiast TeufeurSoff for Grand Theft Auto V, has become unavailable following Rockstar's decision to ban it. The creator claimed to have received no explanation, despite the project having been in development for over a year and requiring significant investment.

According to the creator, he funded the work of programmers and map creators for thirteen months to build an original magical world. The team developed their own setting, spell system, and several factions, creating the universe from scratch. He emphasizes that SevenWands is not related to Harry Potter, although the project's creators were inspired by the magical theme. The developer maintains that all work is his own and does not borrow from other servers or sources, and claims to be able to provide evidence of this.

Rockstar and Cfx.re support have not yet provided an official comment regarding the reasons for the ban. Meanwhile, the server managed to attract around ten thousand gamers within a few weeks of its launch, and the total cost of its creation exceeded $100 thousand.
