Ubisoft is actively expanding its media projects and, in parallel with the adaptation of Far Cry for the small screen, is also developing a series based on Assassin's Creed. Journalists have revealed the first details about the time period in which the upcoming show will take place.

According to Nexus Point News, the plot will once again focus on the Roman Empire and will take place between 54 and 68 CE—the reign of Emperor Nero. The series will feature the emperor himself and his mentor, Lucius Seneca, but other plot lines and characters are still being kept under wraps, further fueling the intrigue surrounding the project.
