Anbernic unveiled a teaser for the RG 477V vertical portable console

The company officially announced its latest portable console, the RG 477V, featuring a vertical form factor and a glass front panel. The device will be available in two color options: classic black and old-school style. The first teaser video showcases a compact design, designed for easy portability.

According to preliminary information, the console features a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280x960 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The hardware platform includes a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, 8 to 12 GB of RAM, and 128 to 256 GB of internal storage. The device will feature Hall-effect joysticks, a 5300 mAh battery with a claimed battery life of up to 7 hours, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity, and Android 14.

The estimated price is approximately 1,599 Chinese yuan ($230). The exact pre-order date and detailed specifications will be announced by the company soon.
