Black Shark unveils portable magnetic speaker for smartphones
Black Shark has released a compact portable speaker designed for use with smartphones that support MagSafe and similar magnetic mounts. The device serves dual functions: it amplifies the sound of your mobile device and serves as a convenient stand for viewing content in either vertical or horizontal orientation. The IPX4 splash-resistant enclosure is made of a combination of metal and ABS plastic.
The speaker system includes a 1.45-inch, 4-watt full-range speaker with a maximum volume of 90 dB. Sound processing is performed by the DSP Pro 2.0 algorithm, which, according to the company, improves bass and overall audio clarity. The front panel features a perforated speaker grille with ring-shaped RGB lighting, and the rear panel features a magnetic mount for attaching to a smartphone.
Wireless connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 6.0, which supports stereo pairing of two speakers. The device offers 6-16 hours of battery life, depending on volume level, thanks to its 750 mAh battery. Recharging via USB-C takes 2.5 hours. The product is now available in China for $18.
