A connoisseur without a gamepad. Macaulay Culkin explored the Fallout universe long before his role
The release of the second season of the Fallout series is just around the corner, and interest in the new characters is only growing. One of them will be Macaulay Culkin's character, and as it turns out, the actor approached the job much more thoroughly than one might expect from someone with little familiarity with the series.
Culkin explained that his connection to Fallout isn't built on playing the classic games, but on a deep immersion in the world's history. With the exception of the mobile game Fallout: Shelter, he hasn't spent much time playing the games themselves, but he has gained a thorough understanding of the universe thanks to podcasts, analysis videos, and lore analysis on YouTube. This passion began long before the premiere of the first season, so while watching the show, the actor easily recognized references and hidden details, explaining them to others.

He said the world of Fallout attracted him precisely because of its eclecticism and freedom of imagination. This universe seamlessly encompasses mutants, terrifying monsters, fantastical creatures, and even aliens, and the rules allow for virtually any idea. This diversity and richness make the series' lore particularly engaging to explore, even without direct gaming experience.
The second season of Fallout is scheduled to premiere on December 17. In the new episodes, Macaulay Culkin will appear as a member of Caesar's Legion, and his deep understanding of the world in which the story unfolds promises to add further credibility to the character.
