The Game Awards 2025 sets new records, surpassing 170 million views
The TGA 2025 ceremony once again proved its status as the world's largest gaming show, breaking several benchmarks. By the end of the broadcast, the total number of views exceeded 171 million, and the peak concurrent audience reached 4.4 million. This represents an 11% year-over-year increase in views and a 9% increase in peak online viewership. Compared to 2021, the event's scale has more than doubled, with approximately 85 million viewers watching.

Social media engagement also increased significantly, growing by 12%. Around 23,000 streamers streamed the ceremony on Twitch and YouTube, a 50% increase over last year's figures. Thus, The Game Awards continues to gain reach and expand its influence on digital platforms.
However, audience impressions were mixed. Despite the numerous high-profile announcements and record-breaking numbers, viewer ratings were muted: only about 15% of respondents were completely satisfied with the show.
