"A Special Project": Arkane CEO Talks About Marvel's Blade Development
Two years have passed since the announcement of Marvel's Blade, and the lack of news has increasingly raised questions among fans. Arkane Lyon CEO and creative director Dinga Bakaba decided to reiterate his position and shared general comments on the development process.
He stated that the team understands the audience's impatience, but work on the game is in full swing. Everyone at the studio is fully engaged in the process and striving to create a product that will meet the high expectations of Arkane fans. The project is described as special and emphasizes that quality remains the developers' top priority, even if it takes time.

Marvel's Blade was announced in December 2023. It is a single-player, third-person action game centered around the vampire-hunting dhampir Blade. The game takes place in an isolated area of Paris, where residents are forced to hide from bloodsuckers after nightfall.
The game is being developed by Arkane Lyon in collaboration with Marvel Games using the Void Engine, previously used in Dishonored 2 and Deathloop. The release date and platform list have not been officially announced, and according to unofficial information, the release may not take place before 2027.
