AyaNeo Pocket VERT – a new portable console for retro gaming fans
AyaNeo officially unveiled Pocket VERT, a compact portable console aimed at fans of classic games. The new product was introduced by the brand's CEO, Artur Zhang, who emphasized that the device was conceived not as just another gaming system, but as a collector's item, focusing on appearance, tactile sensations, and a touch of nostalgia.
Pocket VERT features a vertical form factor and a 3.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 1440 pixels. The image density reaches 615 ppi, and the maximum brightness is claimed to be 450 nits. The console's all-metal body, while the front is covered by a single glass panel, gives the device a premium, seamless look.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which features active cooling, is responsible for performance. The console also features a 6000 mAh battery, stereo speakers, and a full complement of essential ports, including USB Type-C for charging and data transfer, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a microSD slot for memory expansion. Its performance is sufficient not only for classic platforms but also for modern Android games.

The console runs Android with the proprietary AyaNeo interface, which includes a retro library manager, flexible interface settings, performance profiles, and advanced control options. Particular attention has been paid to the input controls: the buttons are unlabeled, the D-pad and ABXY keys are designed in a classic Japanese style, and there are customizable shoulder buttons, faceted shift triggers, and the signature MagicSwitch rotary controller. A hidden touchpad completes the system.

Pocket VERT is now available for pre-order. The base version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage is priced at $269. The version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage costs $349, and another version with the same 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is offered for $369.
