Forza Horizon 5 has surpassed 5 million sales on PlayStation 5
Microsoft's decision to move away from the Xbox ecosystem is already bearing tangible fruit. One of the most striking examples is Forza Horizon 5, which has demonstrated impressive commercial results since its release on PlayStation 5.
According to data from Alinea Analytics, the fifth installment of the popular racing series has sold over five million copies on Sony's console. This sales volume has generated approximately $300 million in revenue. A significant portion of this amount will go toward platform fees and mandatory tax deductions, but even accounting for these expenses, the release remains extremely successful.

The high interest in the game on the series' new platform confirms the correctness of the chosen course and strengthens the Forza Horizon brand's position beyond the Xbox ecosystem. Based on this success, Playground Games is already focused on developing the next installment.
Forza Horizon 6, as previously reported by the developers, will take players to Japan. Particular emphasis is placed on Tokyo, which will be the largest city in the studio's history. A more detailed reveal of the upcoming race is scheduled for January 22nd during the Xbox Developer Direct presentation.
