Forza Horizon 5 has given away the release date of Forza Horizon 6 ahead of schedule

An unexpected advertising banner was discovered in a racing arcade game, prematurely revealing the release date of the next installment in the series. According to the image, Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled for release on May 19, 2026, with owners of the Premium Edition or the corresponding upgrade getting the chance to start racing four days earlier, starting May 15. Microsoft hasn't officially announced the date yet, but the announcement is expected at the upcoming Xbox Developer Direct.

This leak aligns well with earlier information from insider Nate the Hate, who claimed Playground Games was planning a release in the first half of 2026. A May release seems logical and plausible in this context, which has only heightened the community's interest in the upcoming presentation.

Forza Horizon 6 will be the sixth title in the arcade racing series and will take gamers to Japan for the first time. The project promises a vast open world, diverse natural environments and cities, and a fleet of over 550 licensed cars. The game will be available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, including with Game Pass, with a PS5 version coming later.
