Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is now complete, set for release in February

34BigThings srl officially announced the completion of the racing action game Carmageddon: Rogue Shift and the project's gold status, marking the start of physical production. The new installment of the iconic franchise takes players to the year 2050, where humanity faces an invasion of creatures called "Hollowers," forcing people to hide in skyscrapers at night. The only way to escape this dying world is through the deadly Carmageddon races, where participants compete for resources, influence, and the ultimate prize—the right to evacuate the last functioning spaceport.

The gameplay combines classic elements of the series with roguelike mechanics, offering dynamic races in procedurally generated environments. The project maintains the franchise's signature style with an emphasis on destruction, aggressive driving, and alternative ways to win competitions. Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026, and will be available on all current platforms, including PC, next-gen consoles, and Nintendo Switch 2.
