A gameplay teaser has been released for Forza Horizon 6

Xbox has released the first gameplay teaser for Forza Horizon 6, officially confirming the Japanese setting of the new installment in the popular racing series. The short video showcases the upcoming project's atmosphere and sets the tone for a grand journey through one of the most coveted locations for Horizon fans.

The developers are calling Forza Horizon 6 the largest game in the franchise's history. At launch, players will have access to over 550 cars, including a large selection of Japanese models. Particular emphasis is placed on a redesigned sound system, which promises more realistic engine sounds, as well as expanded customization tools. Tokyo, the largest city ever featured in the series, features densely populated areas, highways, and picturesque surroundings.

Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled for release on May 19, and pre-orders are now open. Judging by the first footage, Playground Games is preparing not just a new installment, but a complete reimagining of the scale and scope of the Horizon festival.
